AR15/M4 Armorer

Our AR15/M4 Armorer’s School uses detailed disassembly and reassembly to emphasize operation and the actual function of a direct impingement weapon. The class is 90% hands on from start to finish, with consistent emphasis on inspection of parts and the diagnostics associated with wear and failure.

This AR15/M4 Armorer class is unbranded and relevant to all AR manufacturers. TTG carbines will be utilized for this class to prevent small parts loss or damage from occurring with duty weapons. Students are welcome to bring tools to class, however tools necessary to complete class will be provided for use in class, as well as support materials.

2 Day/16 Hour Class  $450.00

870 Remington Shotgun Armorer
(Factory Authorized)

Students attending this class will receive in-depth and hands-on introduction to the 870 shotgun. 

Instructional topics will include but not be limited to:

Basic operation and nomenclature
Design and Function of the 870 shotgun
Common field strip leading to a detailed disassembly Cleaning and Maintenance
Troubleshooting malfunctions / diagnostics
Advanced Repairs such as Ejector replacement and Hammer/Spring replacement  
  Repair documentation for the dept. armorer         
Each student is required to bring only an 870 shotgun to class and any tools they wish to use or bring. If you are unable to bring a 870 shotgun, please contact us prior to class.  
Basic armorer’s tool kits will be supplied, along with training and support materials.

AR15/M4
Range Diagnostics


In Advanced AR15/M4 class we delve deeper into  troubleshooting and diagnostics of the AR platform. Class will be a mix of lecture and hands on/range time.

This class will address common and uncommon malfunctions that officers will encounter while on the range. Weapon, barrel, and gas port inspections will be covered in a hands on format prior to entering the range. 

During the range portion of class the students will fire AR platform rifles with weapons set-up specifically to fail. Weapons will be numbered or color coded and students must accurately diagnose failures, document, and recommend repairs.

Cleaning and Maintenance will be covered, as well as proper armorer tool selection/recommendations

Safety glasses and hearing protection required.

700 Remington Rifle Armorer
(Factory Authorized)

In 700 rifle class, through the use of a bore-scope, power point, and hands-on instruction, we cover all aspects of this classic bolt rifle to ensure the student leaves with a thorough understanding of its function, design, and common malfunctions.

Repair documentation for the departmental armorer

Triton Training Group will provide Remington model 700 rifle receivers for this class to prevent small parts loss or damage from occurring with duty weapons.

Students are welcome to bring tools or rifles to class, however tools necessary to complete class will be provided for use in class, as well as support materials.

1187 Remington Shotgun Armorer
(Factory Authorized)

Students attending this class will receive in-depth and hands-on introduction to the 1187 shotgun.

Cancellation Policy

Classes are self-supporting and the decision to hold or cancel a class is made based on registrations received.
All cancellations are subject to a minimum service charge of $25 per class/student cancelled.
Any cancellations made in the 15 to 30 days prior to class will incur a $150 service charge per class.  
Cancellations in the 14 days prior to class will not receive a refund but be given the opportunity to transfer to a different class date as space allows. 
No call/ No shows will receive no refunds.
Substitution of the student with a different student can occur at any time with no penalties. 
Any alterations to this policy are at the sole discretion of the training director.
